1990 Budapest, Hungary - as communism began to fall in Eastern Europe, helped organize a youth evangelism conference, attended by 900 Hungarians.
1991 Romania. Planned a community development project that would help the church be active in their faith throughout all areas of the community.
1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 Hawaii partial year, to help run YWAM Leadership Training Schools. Also Korea, teaching in a School of Missions and DTS’s.
1992 Nairobi, Kenya. Leadership Training School, the 110 students represented half the nations of Africa as well as 20 other nations.
1992 Harpenden, England, Community Development Centre
1993 Managed an international survey for the international leadership of YWAM. Began working with the International Office of Training
1994 Moved to Switzerland with the founders of YWAM to help restart the Lausanne missions training center..
1995-1999 Sweden. Started a new YWAM ministry base in Gothenburg.
2000 Australia. Developed and ran Reality Check, a discipleship experience for teenagers. This was the culmination of a dream of several years.
2001 & 2002 New York City, coordinating the Prayer Station Ministry at Ground Zero, in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
2003-2004 Various projects, including some teaching and training opportunities in New York.
2005-2012 Started and led a YWAM base in Manhattan, NY, where we had many wonderful ministry opportunities.
2013- UofN Kona - Marketplace Discipleship Training School, with outreaches into several locations in Asia.
We’ve had the privilege to work in numerous countries, in a variety of ministries, for 35 years. Here’s an overview. The stories would take books to tell.
1978 - 1980 Papua New Guinea. Teaching at a vocational centre for street kids.
1984 YWAM Discipleship Training School in Hawaii with outreach to the Philippines, ministering in prisons and on university campuses.
1985 Mercy Ships port office, San Pedro, CA with extended periods of time in Mexico City building housing for earthquake victims.
1986 - 1990 Sweden. Developed a course to prepare people to live and work in developing nations. The result of these courses has been people ministering in Portugal, the Philippines, Malawi, Mozambique, India, Colombia, Somalia, Belize, Thailand, Egypt.
